George Washington’s favorite tavern

Giving satisfaction to Travelers and Townspeople with a taste for Seafood! Yes, being so close to the coastal and tidewaters, the colony of Williamsburg just had to have a Tavern featuring Seafood—and centuries later, it still does. Mrs. Campbell continues to serve her authentic coastal fare, amidst the lyrics of strolling balladeers.

Specialties include the waterman’s supper, lump crab cakes, Gloucester chicken, and Christiana’s seafood platter.* The entrees are complemented by traditional tavern offerings. Then let yourself be tempted by rum cream pie, custard apple pie, or other sumptuous favourites.
